Everything started with a blind shoemaker and the hands of a child

My first touch of leather happened in my childhood. My grandfather was a shoemaker. He lived with my grandmother in Klaipėda, where I was brought from Vilnius for the summer holidays.

Grandfather couldn’t teach me the craft, but his tools were everywhere—in drawers, boxes, and on shelves. I would touch them, play with them, and explore, never knowing that many years later, they would define the direction of my life.

Back then, I didn’t yet realize that leather is not just a material. It is a living thing, possessing its own texture, character, and time. I didn’t know then that this would become my mastery—and that my handcrafted natural leather wallets would become my signature creation.
